We’re looking for a motivated Ads specialist to help our team with managing advertisements on a part-time basis (10 to 20 hours per week). We are looking specifically for someone who’s confident with managing advertisements on platforms that promote privacy and other ethical technology aspects, like open source and sustainbility.
What You’ll Do
• Develop the format and content of advertisements to match our goals in collaboration with our Communications team and general management.
• Propose the right platforms to put these platforms (e.g. privacy-focused or sustainable search engines like Startpage, DuckDuckGo, Qwant, Ecosia and/or other platforms that are about ethical technology like specific sub-reddits on Reddit).
• Propose the best way to monitor conversions in a privacy-safe manner (we work with Matomo).
• Put all advertisements online after we have chosen content + platforms.
• Implement monitoring & evaluation of the advertisements after they go live.
Skills we are looking for
• Comfertable with writing advertisement content.
• Confident/able to work with Bing ads and the platforms that rely on Bing ads (DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, etc).
• Knowledge of how to enable ads on other pro-privacy search engines (Startpage, Qwant, Brave Search, etc).
• Knowledge of how to manage ads on Reddit.
• Knowledge of how to manage ads on other pro-privacy, sustainable or otherwise ethical platforms.
• Knowledge of Matomo or other ethical monitoring & evaluation mechanisms for advertisements.
Soft Skills
• Reliable and proactive communicator.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote company.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new needs for the project.

As a key member of our Communications team, you will collaborate with our Communications Lead to carry out your own work and to integrate it with other communications projects.
