We’re looking for a motivated WordPress Developer to join our small dev team.
This role is perfect for someone who’s confident with core WordPress work but still enjoys collaborating and learning in a flexible, friendly setup.
What You’ll Do
• Assist in developing and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Handle front-end updates using HTML, CSS, and PHP.
• Work with Git/GitLab for version control (branching, merging, etc.).
• Test, debug, and help fix site or plugin issues.
• Support deployment and staging syncs.
• Occasionally tweak layouts or features based on design feedback.
Must-Have Skills
• WordPress theme/plugin development (custom code, hooks, filters).
• Experience with WooCommerce.
• Solid grasp of PHP, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Comfortable using Git/GitLab for collaboration.
• Understanding of responsive layouts and browser compatibility.
Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills
• JavaScript or jQuery for minor dynamic tweaks.
• Familiarity with WP-CLI, Composer, or REST API.
• Some knowledge of page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg).
• Understanding of staging workflows and CI/CD basics.
Soft Skills
• Reliable and proactive communicator.
• Comfortable working async in a small remote setup.
• Willing to learn and adapt to project-specific coding styles.
About the Team
As a key member of our Shop team, you will collaborate with our lead WordPress developer to build, maintain, and improve WordPress websites — mainly focusing on clean code, performance, and best practices. We value transparency, innovation, and knowledge sharing, relying on tools like GitLab and documentation.
